Booking Terms and Conditions

The following sets out the terms and conditions of our agreement with you when booking with us. Once payment/deposits have been paid, the policies below are automatically accepted by the client.

Booking and Deposit

We ask for a £100 deposit to hold your booking date and time. When you complete and return your booking form you must ensure that it is complete and accurate. The booking will not be confirmed until we have received your deposit and booking form with signed terms and conditions. You will receive confirmation from us acknowledging payment and confirming the booking.

Payment

Unless paying by cash, the remaining balance for the booking must be paid in full 72 hours before the day of your party by bank transfer, PAYPAL*, card payment* (VISA, Mastercard and American Express) or mobile wallets (Apple, Samsung and Google Pay). *Additional fees apply.

Failure to settle the balance may forfeit your party booking.

Unless already paid in full, the remaining balance for the booking must be paid in cash before or immediately after the party entertainment has been completed. Please note your entertainer cannot accept cheques, card payments or any other form of payment on the day.

We regret that the entertainer cannot be asked to wait for payment as they may have to leave straight away to get to another booking. If the entertainer is made to wait for payment longer than 15 minutes after they were booked to finish the entertainment, an additional fee of £15 is applicable and must be paid to the entertainer on the day. Additional fees of £15 will be applied, for every 15 minutes extra the entertainer has to wait for payment. The entertainer cannot wait longer than 30 minutes for payment. If the entertainer is unable to wait for payment due to other commitments, then a fee of £30 is applicable on top of any money owed after the party. If the remaining balance has not been paid in full on the day, a fee of £20 per day will accrue starting the day after the party entertainment has been completed and applicable on top of any money owed.

Travel and Parking

Our entertainers will arrive by car, so please provide us with any parking arrangements we need to know. Parking charges must be paid for by the client if applicable.

Our entertainers will bring with them lots of props and equipment so a space as close as possible outside the venue is essential.

Cancellation

You may cancel at anytime. The deposit will always be non-refundable. We will happily work with you to find an alternative date if there is a problem with the original date booked. This is dependent on availability and must be done at least 1 month before the scheduled party date. If you decide to cancel your booking within 7 days before the booking date, full payment will still be payable, however we will always use our discretion.

We use all reasonable endeavours to provide an entertainer for your party. Unfortunately it is in the nature of personal services that we cannot guarantee this. For example due to ill health or extenuating circumstances. If the original entertainer cannot make it, all efforts will be made to find a replacement. We will inform you immediately when we are aware that an entertainer is not available or will be delayed. If an entertainer is unable to attend the party, a full refund will be provided.

Distractions

A bouncy castle, sweet vendor, soft play, outside play area and balloons on the floor can be lovely additions to a party, but we STRONGLY advise that you limit/pause these during our entertainment. Our entertainers will not be able to keep the attention of all the children if there are multiple distractions and other activities going on.

We kindly ask that any background noises are kept to a minimum whilst our entertainers are hosting your party.

Your Responsibility

Prior to the entertainer arriving you must make sure the area where the entertainer will work is safe and free from all potential hazards. The entertainer will also check the working area on arrival and let you know immediately if they have any concerns.

If you are hosting a party inside or at home, please ensure there is enough space for the number of children invited. Please be aware of any potential trip hazards or sharp edges, e.g. rugs, worktops etc. Please either make safe or clear the space as much as possible ahead of your entertainer arriving.

If you are hosting a party outside, please ensure you have plenty of cool shade in hot weather or a space inside/under cover incase it rains.

You will be responsible for any damage, not related to normal wear and tear that any child causes to the entertainers equipment at cost.

You will be responsible for any personal injury caused to one of our entertainers as a result of your negligence.

You must ensure that there is at least 1 parent per 15 children responsible for the conduct of the children. Although our entertainers will use their reasonable efforts to motivate and excite the children it is not their or our duty to discipline or control bad behaviour.

We have a maximum of 25 children per one entertainer. If more children will be present an extra entertainer will be required (at an additional cost) up to a maximum of 40 children. This is not applicable for school disco’s, fetes or events.

We supply sweets, prizes and suitable gifts at our parties. You must let us know in advance of the party whether these should not be used. We cannot be held responsible for any harm caused as a result.

You must inform us of any children with allergies, illnesses or any type of disability before the party. If it transpires that special help is required for any children then you must ensure this is available at all times.

We do not take responsibility for children or adults causing damage to a venue or any property that the party is held in. This includes, but is not limited to a home, hired venue or public area.

Our Commitment

We will clean all our props and equipment with an antibacterial cleaning agent before and after the party.

We do all we can to ensure that no injury occurs to any children or adults at the party. In the unlikely event that an accident occurs we cannot be held responsible. We take no responsibility for risk assessing the event or for anyone falling ill as a result.

All our entertainers have an enhanced DBS and have valid public liability insurance.

Liability

Except in the case of death or personal injury caused by our negligence our liability under an agreement with you, whether arising in contract, tort or negligence or otherwise shall not exceed the amount of the party fee. We do not accept liability whether in contract, tort or negligence or otherwise for any loss, damage, costs or expenses of any nature whatsoever incurred or suffered by you as an indirect or consequential nature.
